The puny human meatsacks appear to have unleashed their vaunted Uber-GP once again, and have released the following terse statement to the press:



Today Galactic troops moved to remove Dewiek trespassers from Kallisian System of the Inner Capellan. Over 200,000 troops and 25,000 tanks began the assault today on DEN starbase Lucien. Resistance is stiff as Galactic troops manoeuvre the extensive minefields and come to grapple with over 40,000 defending troops which include 8485 Dewiek Berserkers!.

The GTT Board authorized this move to once and for all end the trade dispute with the Dewiek Elder Nation by taking back what was stolen from us by the bad faith dealings of the now deceased High Lord Folkvar.

*** Dewiek Empire Defensive About Damp Patch On Carpet ***

More information has however been forthcoming from SSS reporters embedded with the DEN. The Dewiek Starbase Lucien, located on Hassan 1 in the Kallisan system is the latest target of the human Meatsack Meatparty Of Meatiness, otherwise colloquially known as the Uber GP.

The disgusting human meatsacks attacked initially with around 50,000 troops, half of which were mercenaries, but the other half were elite Startroopers. Heavily supported by around 25,000 medium and heavy tanks.

The shock of their initial assault captured around 7% of the base, but Dewiek defenders dug in and fought back hard, preventing the attackers from breaching deep enough into the base to gain much shelter from the complexes.

Meanwhile two mining outposts nearby were reduced to rubble, as the heavens reigned fire down upon all puny meatsacks below.

The second day saw extremely heavy reinforcements arrive for the Human Empire, with… Kang loses count. Something around 200,000 fresh meatsacks joining the assault, resulting in what can only be described as mass slaughter, as previously optimistic Dewiek defenders saw their potential victory bleeding away as the Humans fed their war machine with disposable Naplian meat.

The third day saw yet more Human EMP reinforcements arrive, reducing the territory held by the defenders to a mere 65% of the base.

It would seem the fourth day of battle will almost certainly see the DEN base fall to the EMP. Barring some sort of miracle.


*** RIP Bombarded ***

GCE forces have risked upsetting the tediously uptight Yank Kastorians, by forcibly removing a RIP vessel from an orbit of the Yank system. The RIP vessel was ‘obviously a spy ship’ when the GCE opened fire, and GCE gunners are understood to have gotten a little carried away and opened fire against a RIP installation on the planet below.

Were there civilian casualties? Kang does hope there were civilian casualties.

Anyway, the GCE have paid compensation for the accidental weapons discharge, and the RIP have felt as if they have no friends.


*** Piracy ***

A pirate ship has been attacking freighter traffic in the Tranquility system.

Kang agrees, this is a fearsomely well equipped band of pirates, and there are not many freighters that could survive an attack of the massed squiddlies like this.

What could have driven the fearsome fish folk to take to the space lanes to commit acts of wanton piracy?

And what happens when one of their water-filled ships docks with a target? Do both ships flood? Kang demands answers!


*** Strike! ***

Unthinking cyborg killing machines this week downed weapons of destruction and walked out on strike in protest at still having too many squishy meat-parts attached to their glorious mechanical killing bodies.

Cyborg designers across the peripheries quickly redesigned their standards to include 12% fewer fleshy meatparts, and the cyborg assembly lines were quickly back to normal.


*** Felini Navy Storm Patrol In Hot Patrol Action ***

The Tyrannic Navy continues Policing Storm for the Krell.

Life in Storm is understood to be relatively ok for all affs there.

How very disappointing.



*** Ulians Doing What Ulians Do Best ***

A single Ulian barge class transport has had an altercation with a squadron of Brotherhood warships in the Hittite system.

The unarmed freighter was destroyed. The Ordo Vigilia held a celebratory crucifixion.


*** Felini Navy Storm Patrol Brokers Disappointing Peace Talks ***

Having shot precisely no-one, it would seem the Felini have managed to force the Ulian and Krell parties to the negotiating table, as they sit down to resolve their differences over the Storm system.

It is a sad sad week for Krellian suicidal tendencies.

I'm currently considering producing my own 10 huller scout ship design but do not have the tech (or starbase) to research it yet. So I am interested in hearing from anyone that can produce a BP for me. (This is a longterm plan as I know I'll have an ongoing need for scout vessels).

It would be using MKI components as I'll not be in a position to build with anything better for a long time.
