Phoenix Startup Creation Part 1: Details
Welcome to the Phoenix: Beyond the Stellar Empire

Phoenix is a turn based game of space exploration, conflict and politics. It has been running in one form or another for 18 years, so the universe is rich with content, all you have to do is carve out you own niche in its epic story.

The phoenix universe that is mainly player controlled, with few restrictions on what they can do. Players can group together in affiliations and alliances to work for a common goal or go it alone. A new player in the game only starts with a single ship but there are no limits on the number of position that you can control within the game. So although as a new player you will only have a few assets when they start there is no limit to what they can achieve over time.

As a player you own positions (ships, starbases, politicals etc) within the game and control them by issueing orders to them via the Nexus Order Editor. These orders are processed once per working day and the results are placed on the nexus after they have been processed. The turns are run with a GM overseeing everything and anything that is not covered by the masses of orders can be done through the GM. You can litterally look at every detail on a planet, via special actions with the GM.

When you start phoenix you get a multi-purpose purpose ship, and some capital but you can control as many ships as you like for free, however you need to earn then in game or have them transfer to you by other players. The real power in the game is players not assets, and as a new player you will have no problem in aquiring power if you are willing to join an affiliation.

This signup will create a Nexus Account and a ship within the Phoenix universe. It will then run through some of the things that you can do with that ship. As a new player your profile will be availiable to all the affiliation recruiters until you have choisen an affiliaition.
