This unassuming light grey mineral has a highly complex molecular structure with unusual electrical conductivity characteristics, one being that its conductivity increases for a limited period of time as more electrons are channelled through its matrix. Environmental parameters such as temperature and magnetic fields have also been found to play into this process. It is thought that fibrillium requires a very long period of time to form a stable matrix because all attempts to produce it synthetically have failed. Fibrillium can be put to use in the production of fuzzy logic processors and artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence always has an unpredictable element of uncertainity and is therefore unsuitable for most automated processes but surprisingly effective in some uses where ingenuity is called for.
