This basic defoliant can be used to clear an area of vegetation. While powerful, it is no match for other non-producible products. It normally takes a few weeks to take effect and can be countered through the use of basic elements on a 1:1 basis. It normally requires 1000mu's per sector to convert a vegetation sector into an appropriate non-vegetative region.
The defoliants are short lived biodegradable and a region will normally be colonised from plants within adjacent sectors within a few short months of being defoliated.
